Air-to-air VRF heat pump system for heating and cooling large spaces

The Mark MISTRAL MDX is a VRF system, which is specially developed for energy-efficient heating and cooling of large spaces. The combination of an air-to-air heat pump (outdoor unit) with a compact air heater / cooler (indoor unit) ensures excellent performance. Thanks to the extensive setting options, the installation can be fully adapted to the use of the building and the wishes of the users.

Thanks to the long available pipe lengths (90m MDX 33/ 170m MDX 56) and the wide temperature range, the MISTRAL MDX has many application options. Suitable for heating and cooling garages, warehouses, workshops, distribution centers and showrooms.

Hybrid control

Do you want to reduce the gas consumption of your industrial hall or space? Then take advantage of our Hybrid Controller. This hybrid controller allows you to combine an existing or new gas-fired/electric air heater with our Mistral MDX heat pump system. The installed capacity of the Mistral MDX unit can be low because the gas-fired/electric heater(s) provide the power needed during severe cold. This way one saves significantly on energy costs.

Remote connection

The Pintherm Mistral IoT/WiFi can be used to control the Mistral MDX. This thermostat can be controlled from anywhere in the world via a secure Cloud environment in the browser of your PC, tablet or smartphone. No need to open a firewall port for this. The optional WiFi module also eliminates the need for a LAN cable for the thermostat. The thermostat’s settings can also be read and/or changed using Modbus or Ethernet. The thermostat can also be linked to the BMS (building management system).
