9 Mark AERFLOW air handling units provide fresh air in the completely renovated hotel
Mark Eire has supplied no fewer than 9 Mark AERFLOW air handling units for the completely renovated Strandhotel Het Hoge Duin in Wijk aan Zee. The AHU’s provide the hotel rooms, restaurant, kitchen and wellness area with an optimal indoor climate.
The Mark AERFLOW is a high-efficiency heat recovery unit. The AERFLOW CFX is equipped as standard with a certified high-efficiency counterflow exchanger with bypass. The AERFLOW HWX is equipped with a corrosion-resistant heat wheel as standard. For post-heating and cooling, the heat recovery units for this project are also equipped with a water change-over battery.
Due to their location by the sea, the air handling units have an outer cladding of seawater-resistant AlMg3 aluminum. The unit is also provided with a special coating on the inside to prevent corrosion. This ensures that the air handling units have an optimal lifespan and low maintenance costs.

The total of 9 air handling units have all been commissioned by the service department of Mark Eire. The Mark service department has extensive experience in the field of service and maintenance of climate control equipment, but can also carry out the commissioning and assembly of our air handling units. Our service department with STEK technicians is both Scios and VCA certified.

The Strandhotel Het Hoge Duin, located in Wijk aan Zee, is located in one of the most beautiful places on the Dutch coast. The major renovation and expansion of the hotel has been completed in the spring of 2024. Beach hotel Het Hoge Duin has 116 modern rooms and a sky bar and restaurant with a view of the North Sea.
