Air handling units for new construction

Mark air handling units with heat recovery provide the multifunctional center with a pleasant indoor climate

Commissioned by Van Dorp, Mark Climate Technology supplied no less than 37 air handling units for the newly built multifunctional center “De Tirrel” in Winsum.

A total of 14 AIRSTREAM HWX heat recovery units supply the building with fresh air. The units are equipped with a corrosion-resistant heat wheel with an efficiency of up to 90%. This means that 90% of the energy expelled is supplied to the fresh supply air. In addition, 23 FLAT LINE ceiling HRV units have been selected. Thanks to the low height of these units, they are ideal for placement above suspended ceilings. All units are also equipped with water-supplied post-heating and cooling.

Thanks to a fully integrated control with Modbus, the units can be easily accessed via the building management system.

Commissioning by the Mark service department

The total of 37 air handling units have all been commissioned by the service department of Mark Climate Technology. The Mark service department has extensive experience in the field of service and maintenance of climate control equipment, but can also carry out the commissioning and assembly of our air handling units. Our service department with STEK technicians is both Scios and VCA certified.

The multifunctional center De Tirrel is the new and modern accommodation for, among other things, a nursing home, childcare, primary school and various sports clubs in Winsum. It is built according to the latest standards and is therefore both future-proof and earthquake-resistant.

The building will be opened in 2023.
